In October 1971 a flag was prepared for ANZUK Force, the Australian, New
Zealand and
United Kingdom elements of the Five Power Defence Force in Malaysia and
Singapore, which
was being formed on 1st November 1971. It was to be flown in addition to
national flags.

The design was prepared by Sir Anthony Wagner, Garter King of Arms.
18th October 1971.
"Tierced in fess azure gules and blue celeste charged at the fess point with
the royal crown proper over all above a scroll containing legend ANZUK FORCE."
22nd October 1971. Approved by HM Queen Elizabeth II.
